A’ja: What is the intention of your clothing line, and how do you feel about the praise you receive from your supporters?
fat!: The intention of my brand itsfatswag is giving the plus size community a platform to get fly , I’ve struggled for years finding clothes my size and also even finding my swag so enough is enough . The reaction/praise has been amazing , I’m grateful , thankful , blessed , I mean the list goes on how I feel , I’m appreciative to finally have found my purpose.
A’ja: How has your life changed since when you first started your brand and now?
fat!: Life has changed tremendously , like I said early I found my purpose . In the beginning it was fun & games and a little bit of money , it was fun & games . Now it’s a legit business & I’m serving a certain community of People who deserve to get fly.
A’ja: What do you think the streetwear brand scene is missing, and how do you want to help fill it?
fat!: Personally , I don’t think I can answer that at the moment . I’m a fan of everything so I can’t really say what the scene is missing at the moment . I wake up everyday & see something new on instagram & I love it all . I like to get inspiration from everything & everybody.

A’ja: Do you see yourself moving beyond entrepreneurship? Is there anything else you’d like to pursue in the entertainment industry?
fat!: Great question ! I used to be a rapper , I could see myself going back down that lane sometime soon , but idk that’s a tough industry . I’m going to stick to clothes as long as I can.
A’ja: You have a lot of eye-catching distinctive designs; where do you get your creative inspiration?
fat!: Just living tbh , I don’t go fishing for designs , I just live my life & grab inspiration as my 24 hour day plays on . I think I view the word differently , I see things different ways sometimes , I just have a very open mind.
A’ja: What is one mistake you made as a brand owner that you have learned from?
fat!: Investing , finances , the money . This money is not mine . This money is here to fund & run my business & I had to learn that the hard way … BIG TIME.
A’ja: What do you have planned for 2025?
fat!: 2025 will be a great year ! More pieces ! More swag ! More traveling ! More pop ups ! 2025 is all bout making a dent in this industry letting them know fatswag is here to stay . 2024 was all about foundation , now it’s time to put our foot on the gas & not let up !!!
